Anjali's Arangetram

Anjali is hoping to channel any monetary donations from the arangetram towards supporting an important cause. The proceeds from this event will be donated to St. Jude's Children's Hospital through an online fundraiser.

"As I thought about what I would want to do with such a significant event like an arangetram in which the community comes together to celebrate the arts and traditional dance, I wanted to give back. I thought about what causes were most important to me, and childhood cancer is something I truly strive to fight against. It shortens too many innocent lives too early. I find that St. Jude’s work in research and treatment is amazing and life-changing, and so I hope to donate more funds towards early childhood cancer research through my arangetram."

Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago.
